Rare Antique "Rockne" Car in Punta Gorda Parking Lot

This "32" Rockne was spotted in a Punta Gorda parking lot.  The car was made by Studebaker in an agreement with the famed football coach Knute Rockne who died in a plane crash before the car hit the assembly line. It was according to record a good car/truck that fell victim to the depression in 1933 -- so only a few were made 1932 and 1933 models. According to the Studebaker Club registry only about 185 whole Rocknes, plus some parts of others, have been identified and registered in 15 countries.
